Problem List
Turning the steering wheel is difficult.
The steering wheel will not return to the NEUTRAL position. The machine is steering all of the time.
The impact at full articulation is too high.
The machine turns too slowly in one direction.
The machine turns too slowly in both directions.
The machine turns too slowly in both directions only when the machine turns against a load.
The machine does not turn when the steering wheel is turned.
The machine turns but the operator does not turn the steering wheel.

The port plate in the pilot valve is binding.
One or both of the constant velocity joints is binding.

The neutral pilot pressure is too low.
The steering pump margin pressure is too low.

The pilot valve is defective.
The steering control valve spool is sticking.
There is a mechanical failure in the steering linkage.
Both of the cushioning orifices are blocked and the quad check valve will not open.Problem 8: The machine turns but the operator does not turn the steering wheel.Probable causes:
One of the cushioning orifices are blocked.
The spool in the steering control valve does not return to the NEUTRAL position correctly.
The spool in the pilot valve is binding.
The centering spring in the steering control valve is broken.
The steering column is binding.
