This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5295" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the July 2, 1997 (Revised November 1997) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Affected Product.

The oil pan may leak at the tee joint between the front and rear sump on certain 776B, 776C, 776D and 784B Tractors, 777B, 777C, 777D, 785, 785B, 789, 789B, 793, 793B and 793C Trucks, 992G and 994 Wheel Loaders, D11N AND D11R Tractors and 5130 and 5230 Excavators.

When submitting a claim against a spare engine, use the appropriate 99Z code for spare components.
