1 1 6I-0723 Oil Drain Plug Before assembly, lightly lubricate the threads with the lubricant that is being sealed or an approved equivalent.
Torque to 55 7 N m (41 5 lb ft).
2 15 1A-2029 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts:
1. Tighten five bolts to standard torque.
2. Tighten bolt (1) through bolt (10) in a numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 1 to standard torque.
3 - - Before assembly, apply red Loctite 596 high temperature silicone sealant to the joints of the gasket.
4 28 5P-5855 Bolt Apply blueLoctite 242 to the open top end of the bolt holes after assembly of the oil pan.
5 1 7E-2630 Oil Pan Gasket Before assembly, apply red Loctite 596 high temperature silicone sealant to the joints of the gasket.
5 4 1A-5964 Bolt Apply blueLoctite 242 to the open top end of the bolt holes after assembly of the oil pan.
6 1 4B-2363 Oil Drain Plug Torque to 145 15 N m (107 11 lb ft).
7 2 6V-4315 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lightly lubricate the bore for the O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed or an approved equivalent.
8 4 5P-5700 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lightly lubricate the bore for the O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed or an approved equivalent.
