If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Caterpillar Lexion 485/480/460/465/450Installation InstructionsGrain Tank Wear PlatePart No. 173-31471. The grain tank wear plate (173-3147) will be placed in the area indicated in the following picture. Fit wear plate into place and remove any paint that may inhibit welding of the plate into place. Protect or move any hydraulic hoses that may come into contact with weld splatter.2. Weld wear plate (173-3147) into position by placing evenly spaced welds along the upper and lower edge of the plate. Turn main battery disconnect off on LH side of combine on back side of tool box. Place weld ground cable as near as possible to the area being welded. Paint wear plate and any areas affected by the weld splatter.
