INSPECT PARTS STOCKS OF 4W7011 NOZZLE ASSEMBLIES, 1254, PI3082 U-76 C-69 TA-3.1 priority parts stock action needed Problem Some 4W7011 Nozzle Assemblies - Fuel Valves can cause misfiring. Action Requested Inspect all parts stocks of 4W7011 Nozzle Assemblies. There is no need to inspect any other nozzles. Caterpillar's records show the following dealers have the following nozzle assemblies to be inspected: Dealer Quan. Dealer Quan. Crothers 16 Cleveland Bros. 8 Whayne 8 Altorfer Machinery 6 Carolina Tractor 2 Powell Equip. 4 Wagner Equip. 2 MacAllister 6 Patten Tractor 11 Fabick Tractor 7 Wheeler Machinery 24 Wilde Mfg. (OEM) 8 Look for the date code stamped on the shell of the nozzle assembly. See Illustration. The shell is the portion of the nozzle assembly with the largest O.D. Remove the nozzle from stocks if one of the following date codes is on the shell: B-4 E-4 C-4 F-4 D-4 G-4 (SEE ILLUSTRATION) Warranty Allowances Submit one claim for all 4W7011 Nozzle Assemblies with the listed date codes. Parts Disposition Dispose of the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. Completion Date Termination Date December 31, 1984. January 31, 1985.
