Start the engine.

Ensure that the inverter bypass (arrows) are in the Open position (louvers towards the top of the inverter cabinet). Refer to Illustration 1 for reference.

Install Tool (A) to the pressure tap (indicated with the arrow) that is located near the solenoid valve and manifold. The pressure for the steering piston pump should be 22750 690 kPa (3300 100 psi).

(A) Solenoid (B) Cap
Disconnect harness from solenoid (A) .
Remove cover (B) in order to adjust the maximum hydraulic motor speed.
With the engine speed at idle, monitor the engine speed in ET or advisor.

Adjust the hydraulic motor speed until ET reads 2800 rpm.
Raise engine speed to 1800 rpm.
Adjust hydraulic motor speed until the maximum fan speed is achieved. DO NOT EXCEED 3400 rpm.Note: Maximum fan speed is altitude-dependent and may not reach 3400 rpm.
Reconnect harness to solenoid (A) and install cover (B) .
