Illustration 2. 6V4947 Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Stand.1P1784 Stand can be used for most of the hydraulic cylinders used on Caterpillar equipment, but some of the larger cylinders have torque or length specifications which are more than the capacity of this stand. The 6V4947 Stand will service all sizes of Caterpillar hydraulic cylinders.
It is Caterpillar's recommendation that a purchase of the 6V4947 or 6V4948 Repair Stand be made if there is a need to service large cylinders such as those found on the 992C Loaders, D10 Tractors, 235 and 245 Excavators, or 641 Tractor-Scrapers, etc.
A Special Instruction on the use of each repair stand is available. Form* SEHS7963 is for 6V4947 Repair Stand and 6V4948 Kit. Form* SEHS7964 is for 1P1784 Repair Stand and 1P2330 Kit.
