Install O-ring seal (16) and glide ring (17) to shaft cover (1). Make sure that the relief grooves are properly positioned. Refer to Illustration 4. Bend glide ring (17) for installation. Refer to Illustration 5 for proper installation. Use a finger in order to shape glide ring (17) to the original shape.

Install motor shaft (12) to shaft cover (1) .

Lubricate the inside of stator frame (2) with oil and partially install stator frame (2) to motor shaft (12). Remove Tool (A) .Note: Align the identification marks that were made during disassembly on stator frame (2) and motor shaft (12) .

Install pressure valve (13) and spring (14) (not shown) to shaft cover (1) .

Install stator frame (2) to motor shaft (12) .

Ensure that pressure valve (13) and spring (14) (not shown) can move freely.

Install pressure valve (10), spring (9), O-ring seal (11) and valves (8) to stator frame (2). The notches in valves (8) must be toward the top of stator frame (2) .

Install glide ring (5) to motor cover (3). Make sure that the relief grooves are properly positioned. Refer to Illustration 4. Bend glide ring (5) for installation. Refer to Illustration 5 for proper installation. Use a finger in order to shape glide ring (5) to the original shape.

Align the identification marks that were made during disassembly and install motor cover (3) .

Ensure that spring (9) and pressure valve (10) can move freely. Tighten plug (6) to a torque of 41 N m (30 lb ft). Install magnetic plug (7) .

Install two bolts (4) in order to hold the motor together. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 61 N m (45 lb ft).End By: Connect the motor and swivel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Grapple Motor and Swivel - Connect".
