Remove the ripper carriage.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.

Install pin (1), retainer (3), and bolts (2).
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to ripper frame (4). The weight of ripper frame (4) is approximately 141 kg (310 lb).
Remove bolt (6). Remove pins (1), spacers (7), and ripper frame (4).

Use Tooling (B) to remove sleeve bearing (8).Installation Procedure
Install ripper frame (4) in the reverse order of removal.

Install sleeve bearing (8) to a depth of Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 1.00 0.20 mm (0.039 0.008 inch).
Apply Tooling (C) to the bores of sleeve bearings (8).
Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).
