Important Information
When testing must be done in a closed area, activate the brakes and use blocks to prevent the machine from moving during the tests. Let only approved personnel on the machine. Keep other personnel off the machine and in view of the operator.
All tests and adjustments must be made with the oil in the hydraulic control system at normal operating temperature. Be sure the linkage adjustments are correct before making any tests.

Do not make any adjustments to the linkage with the engine running.
SELECTOR VALVE
1. Body of the selector valve. 2. Body of the pressure control valve. 3. Spool for speed selection. 4. Spool for direction selection.1. Make the adjustment to direction spool (4) so the end of the spool is flush with the front face of valve body (1) when the spool and detent are in the REVERSE position.2. Make the adjustment to speed selection spool (3) so the end of the spool is flush with the front face of valve body (1) when the spool and detent are in the FOURTH SPEED position. Tighten nuts on the end of spools (3) and C (4) to a torque of 25 5 lb. ft. (35 0.7 mkg).Linkage Adjustment For The Transmission Hydraulic Controls
Do not make any adjustments to the linkage with the engine running.
