Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: If the electronic control module (ECM) is being replaced, download the personality module before you remove the ECM. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Replacing the ECM".
Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.
Remove the sensors from the bracket.
Loosen the allen head screws and disconnect the harness assemblies from the electronic control module.

Disconnect hose assembly (1) and hose assembly (2) from electronic control module (4).
Disconnect ground strap (7).
Remove bolts (3) and electronic control module (4).
If necessary, remove bolts (6) and bracket (5). Remove the gasket. Installation Procedure

Install the gasket and bracket (5). Install bolts (6).
Position electronic control module (4) and install bolts (3).
Connect ground strap (7).
Connect hose assembly (2) and hose assembly (1) to electronic control module (4).
Connect the harness assemblies to the electronic control module and tighten the allen head screws to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Install the sensors in the bracket.
Connect the negative battery terminal at the battery.
