Announcement Caterpillar? Remanufactured Products Group announces the expansion of the remanufactured product line to include four 3054 engine arrangements for the medium wheel and track hydraulic excavators (see table below for product coverage). Coverage Features & Benefits These engines are intended to supplement dealer rebuild capability with a complete engine repair alternative that can be used as either back up or the primary service solution. Priced competitive to re-builders, they provide the dealer with a cost effective repair option and fast turnaround for the customer. Consist Reman 3054 engines come fully assembled and dynamometer-tested. The flywheel, starter, alternator, and associated wiring must be reused from the core engine or purchased separately. Regulatory Compliance The Remanufactured 3054 engines are of the same design with regard to exhaust and noise emissions as their respective original engine in the table above. As such, they are designed to produce emissions levels identical to the original engine. However, it should be noted that Remanufactured replacement engines require no emissions certification for either EPA or EU, on or off-highway. As such, typical Caterpillar Remanufactured engines do not carry labeling specifying a particular emissions level. Core Acceptance All engines returned as cores must meet the core acceptance guidelines as identified in the "Core Acceptance Criteria" SELD0266. Core Management Please refer to the Caterpillar?
