Assemble retained Slide Cushion Assembly (E) down through Cover As (5). Secure using retained Knob (F) and washer. Refer to Illustration 17.

Insert Push Button Switch (15) into the hole on top of Cover As. (5) as indicated in Illustration 18 and secure with the supplied lock washer and nut.

Connect the pigtail from Push Button Switch (15) into Connector Plug As. (19) by inserting the white pigtail wire into position 1 on Connector Plug As. (19). Insert the brown pigtail wire into position 2 and the black pigtail wire into position three on Connector (19). Connect the assemble pigtail from Push Button Switch (15) and connector (19) into the harness connection shown on Control Wiring Group (6).

Assemble three Grommets (11) to Cover As (5).
Assemble Film (1) to Cover As (5). Choose the film to apply based on your machine configuration.
Apply 416-5284 film for 966M XE and 972M XE machines (serial number P6C1-up & EDW1-up).
Apply 285-8015 film for any other model of machine.

Press the Fore/Aft Adjustment Knob (R) and collapse the slide. Use retained Clip (P) to secure Control Wiring Gp (6). Install the clip over the green tape on the harness. Secure the clip to the rear bolt of the bracket. Refer to Illustration 23.Installation of Control and Mounting Group
