Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the rear gear group.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Remove the bolts that hold the engine oil pan to the rear housing.

Disconnect hose assembly (1).
Remove bolts (2).

Attach a suitable lifting device to rear housing (5). The weight of rear housing (5) is approximately 84 kg (185 lb).
Remove bolts (4).
Remove rear housing (5) and the gasket. Installation Procedure
Install rear housing (5) in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten bolts (4) in a numerical sequence to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
