The improved adapter provides the ability to connect and download VIMS data files using VIMSpc installed specifically on Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit or Vista 64-bit laptops. The improved adapter also works on previous versions of Microsoft Windows as well as with Cat ET. Note: To connect and download data from a VIMS machine with VIMS 3G hardware using the 305-5528 Cable As, a USB Serial Adapter is not required as this cable uses an Ethernet connection.If there are issues with this adapter and you are a dealer, contact your technical communicator.
