Position the planetary carrier and output shaft assembly on suitable blocking. The weight of the planetary carrier and output shaft assembly is approximately 82 kg (181 lb).
Remove O-ring seal (104) from shaft assembly (102).
Remove retaining ring (103) and seal ring (105). Remove shaft assembly (102).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (106) from shaft assembly (102).
Remove gear (107) and bearing (108) from shaft assembly (102).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (113). Remove sun gear (112) from input shaft (110).
Use two people in order to remove planetary carrier (111). The weight of planetary carrier (111) is approximately 26 kg (58 lb).

Remove retaining ring (118). Remove bearing (117) and sun gear (116) from planetary carrier (111).

Use a suitable punch in order to push pin (125) into planetary shaft (124). Remove planetary shaft (124) from planetary carrier (111). Remove washers (120), (123), (126), and (129) from planetary carrier (111). Remove planetary gears (122) and (127) from planetary carrier (111). Remove bearings (121) and (128) from planetary carrier (111). Remove pin (125) from planetary shaft (124). Repeat for the remaining planetary shafts.
Use Tooling (D) in order to remove retaining ring (131) from planetary carrier (111). Remove bearing (130) from planetary carrier (111).

Remove planetary carrier (132) from input shaft (110).

Use a suitable punch in order to push pin (138) into planetary shaft (134). Remove planetary shaft (134), washers (133) and (137), planetary gear (136), and bearing (135) from planetary carrier (132). Remove pin (138) from planetary shaft (134). Repeat for the remaining planetary shafts.
Use Tooling (D) in order to remove retaining ring (139) from planetary carrier (132). Remove bearing (140) from planetary carrier (132).
