This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3193" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3193" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The new hose assembly installed in this letter should become a part of the daily walk around inspection.
1998 COFA mail code AU-276 is not in order since it was added at Revision SEBE6709-02 in March 1999.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the December 7, 1998(Revised January 1999) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Mail Codes.

1. Remove the 107-7942 HEUI Oil Tube and for the 3408E remove the 7W6492 plug from the aftercooler core housing.2. On 3408E only, install the new 8T6762 Plug (square socket).3. Install the 162-2501 HEUI Oil Hose assembly using the following instructions.A. Assemble end 'A' elbow to manifold and hand tighten.B. Hand tighten hose end 'A' nut to manifold fittingC. Assemble hose end 'B' to pump fitting and tighten nut to 125 15 N m (92.20 11.10 ft-lb)D. Hold end 'A' adjustable fitting and tighten jam nut to 143 15 N m (105.50 11.10 lb-ft)E. Tighten Hose end 'A' Nut to 125 15 N m (92.20 11.10 ft-lb)
