1. Put boom and bucket in the position shown.2. Fasten a hoist to guard (3). Remove bolts and guard. Weight of guard is 90 lb. (41 kg). 3. To release the oil pressure in the bucket cylinder circuit, slowly open screws (4) and (5) until the oil pressure is released. Tighten the screws.
Do not disconnect any oil lines from the bucket cylinder until all oil pressure in the bucket cylinder circuit has been released.
4. Disconnect oil lines (1) and (2) from the cylinder.5. Fasten a hoist to the cylinder.6. Remove bolt, washer and bushing from the head end pin. Remove pin with tooling (A).7. Remove bolts and bracket from each side of rod end pin. 8. Remove pin from rod end of cylinder with tooling (B). 9. Remove bucket cylinder (6). Weight of cylinder is 900 lb. (408 kg).Install Bucket Cylinder
1. Fasten a hoist to the cylinder. Put the cylinder in position and install head end pin (1).2. Install bushing, washer and bolt that holds the pin in place. 3. Lower the cylinder and put bores in the bucket linkage and rod in alignment. Install pin (2).4. Install bracket and bolts on each side of the pin. 5. Connect oil lines (3) and (4) to the cylinder. 6. Fasten a hoist and put guard (5) in position on cylinder. Install bolts.
