Remove the tire and the rim (rear). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Rear) - Remove and Install".
Remove the piston motor (rear propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Rear Propel) - Remove".

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to final drive planetary (1). Remove bolts (2) and remove final drive planetary (1) from the machine. The weight of final drive planetary (1) is approximately 182 kg (402 lb).
