This program applies only if the Affected Product is equipped with one of the following Reman engines or Reman short blocks and only if leak was identified prior to 4000 hours:

Perform a visual inspection of the Reman engine at each PM up to 4000 hours to identify coolant leaks at the head/block joint.
Identify the number of cylinders leaking (Image 1). 3 or more cylinders must be leaking.
This program does not apply unless Coolant Additive has been added. Please check records for other Product Support Programs related to C175 engine head to block joint leaks for adding Coolant Additive.
When submitting the Parts Technical Request to document the leak please include the information product status report, pictures and description of the leak, service and maintenance history, and Reman engine part number and serial number.
Refer to KENR6052 to perform installation of the Reman Short Block.
