Note: This procedure only outlines the steps required to change the NRS venturi and the related components on the engine. Other components specific to the machine model may need to be removed to gain access to the venturi system.

(1) NRS delta P sensor (2) NRS intake pressure sensor (3) NRS venturi (4) Hose connection to NRS cooler (5) Lifting eye (6) Support bracket (7) Connection to elbow (8) Exhaust elbow (9) Band clamp
Remove sensor (1) and sensor (2) .
Remove band clamp (9) from the connection at the NRS valve. Loosen the clamps connecting hose to NRS cooler (4) .Note: The clamps and hose may be cut to aid in removal.
Remove two bolts holding NRS venturi (3) to support bracket (6). Separate venturi (3) from elbow (6). Then remove elbow (8) .
Remove the bolts fastening support bracket (6) to the engine. Then, remove engine lifting eye (5) .Installation Procedure

Install new lifting eye (4) .
Install new hose (8) onto the inlet side of venturi using two new clamps 314-7599 Band Clamps .
Mount venturi (5) to the mounting bracket onto bracket (9). Install venturi and bracket assembly onto the engine.
Install a new 380-8558 Hose onto the outlet of the venturi using two new 314-7599 Band Clamps . Install new elbow (6) using a new clamp (7) to connect the elbow to the NRS valve.Torque procedure for the 9N-5085 Clamp : Torque for clamp ... 8.5 N m (75 lb in) Lightly tap around the circumference of the clamp with a small hammer. ... Retorque clamp ... 8.5 N m (75 lb in)
