Spring force is created when releasing the brakes. Failure to follow the recommended procedure could cause the threads inside the brake piston to fail and forcefully propel the tooling. Personal injury or death could result from being struck by tooling propelled by the released spring force. Follow the recommended procedure when releasing the brakes.
