Accessing Calibration Submodes
The following table lists the availble calibration submodes for tracked pavers and for wheeled pavers. The submodes are accessed when the ECM is in calibration mode 2.
Table 1
Calibration Submodes For Tracked Pavers
Submode Number Engine Status Description
c01 OFF Speed Dial Full Clockwise
c02 OFF Speed Dial Full Counter-clockwise
c03 OFF Speed Lever Full Forward
c04 OFF Speed Lever Full Reverse
c05 OFF Speed Lever Neutral
c06 OFF Steering Wheel Full Left
c07 OFF Steering Wheel Full Right
c08 OFF Steering Wheel Centered (Left Spring)
c09 OFF Steering Wheel Centered (Right Spring)
c10 OFF Brake Pedal Full UP
c11 OFF Down
c12 ON Auto Calibration of Initial Pump Currents Engine status ON calibrations require the following conditions:
The engine speed at high idle.
The steering wheel centered.
The brake pedal up.
The speed dial position at one half.
PAVE gear selected.
The parking brake not applied.

c11 ON Auto Calibration of Initial Pump Currents Engine status ON calibrations require the following conditions:
The engine speed at high idle.
The steering wheel centered.
The brake pedal up.
The speed dial position at one half.
PAVE gear selected.
The parking brake not applied.Note: When in calibration submode c12 (submodes c08 through c11 on wheeled pavers) the engine has to be running at high idle. The machine will propel in submode c12 (c11 on wheeled pavers).

(1) Propel ECM mode switch
(2) Propel ECM display mode switch The calibration submodes can be accessed by using the service switches (1, 2). Calibration mode 2 must be entered first. Then the calibration submodes are accessible. The ECM provides normal operation until calibration mode 2 is entered.Entering Calibration Mode 2
Press and hold the ECM mode switch (1) in the SCROLL position.
Release the switch when "- 2 -" is showing in the display area. The ECM now enters the calibration mode. The ECM will be in the first submode that corresponds to the current engine status. Submode c01 if the engine is not running. Submode c12 (submode c08 on wheeled pavers) if the engine is running.
