1 12 293-5490 Bolt Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper anti-seize to the threads and the bearing surfaces.
Torque to 40 3 N m (30 2 lb ft).
2 1 372-5858 Band Clamp Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper anti-seize to the threads and the bearing surfaces.
Use the following procedure to tighten the band clamp.
1. Tighten the clamp assembly to 28 to 30 N m (248 to 266 lb in).
2. Gently hit around the clamp assembly with a soft hammer.
3. Again, tighten the clamp assembly to 28 to 30 N m (248 to 266 lb in).
