the slope sensor establishes the zero cross slope position of the machine. This calibration should be performed if the following conditions exist:
The slope sensor has been jarred.
The slope sensor has been replaced.
The performance of the system is in question. This calibration requires the use of a carpenter's level.
Turn ON the Grade & Slope Electronic Control System with the grade/slope switch. Adjust the rear of the machine by using the rear raise/lower switch. Make the adjustment so that the rear appears level with the front.
Place a precision level on the operator's platform. The level must be perpendicular to the direction of machine movement in order to measure the cross slope of the machine. Adjust the left front of the machine and adjust the right front of the machine. Use the left front raise/lower switch and use the right front raise/lower switch. Make adjustments so that the level indicates that the machine is level from one side to the other side. This is the zero cross slope position of the machine. Do not alter the machine position.
Enter calibration mode. Press and hold the mode scroll switch until "CALIBRT" is showing on the left readout. After the mode scroll switch is released, "CALIBRT" will be showing on the left readout and "MENU #1" will be flashing on the right readout.
Select the submode for the slope. Press and hold
