Open the access doors on the right side of the machine.

There are two filters. There is one filter on each propel pump.
Place a suitable container under each filter in order to catch any oil that may leak when the filter is removed.
Remove each filter element.
Clean the filter base. All of the old seal must be removed.
Apply a thin coating of clean hydraulic oil to the seal of the new filter elements.
Install the new filter by hand. When the gasket contacts the filter base, turn the filter by 270 degrees more. This will tighten the filter sufficiently.Note: Every new oil filter has rotation index marks that are spaced at 90 degree increments. Use the rotation index marks as a guide for tightening the oil filter.
Dispose of the spilled oil in a proper manner. Dispose of the old filter elements in a proper manner.
After all of the elements are changed, start the engine. Check the level of the hydraulic oil. As needed, add hydraulic oil.
