One or more of the following errors can be reported:
Logged error code - 191-02 or 191-11
"Limp Home Mode" is active, and displayed as such on the monitor.
Transmission operates only in first gear, and will not shift up to second gear.
Engine speed is limited to 1300 rpm or less.
Monitor displays "Power Train Error".Troubleshooting Procedure

Using ET, check all active and logged fault codes.
If the only logged fault code is 191-02, the code is likely the result of a drivetrain software issue.
Using ET, clear all active and logged fault codes.
Drive the machine for 2 minutes, in both forward and reverse directions, reaching highest speed possible, in both first and second gear.
Check again for active and logged fault codes in ET.
If no error codes are active or logged, the speed sensor is not defective. The observed fault code 191-02 is likely the result of a drivetrain software issue. The resolution for this fault code will be communicated as soon as a fix is available. Perform Steps 2 and 4 of the ""Harness and Swivel Testing Procedure"". If no error codes are active or logged, no further testing is required.
If new fault codes 191-02, 191-11 are logged, then follow the instructions in Step 8 through Step 17.
Inspect all three connection points of the speed sensor harness.
Refer to Illustration 2. Ensure that there is no corrosion on the connector pins or sockets. Ensure that there is no moisture or humidity in the connectors.
Disconnect the machine harness from the speed sensor and check if a 24 V supply is present between "Pin 3 (+24V)" and "Pin 1 (Ground)".
Connect the machine harness back to the sensor.
Fabricate the test harness. Refer to Illustration 1. Connect the test harness between the harness from the speed sensor (F) and the harness from the swivel at point 2 (G). Refer to Illustration 2.
Connect the 6V-7070 Digital Multimeter to the test harness (Signal and Ground) connected to point 2 (G). Refer to Illustration 2.
Remove the transmission speed sensor from the transmission. Wipe away any transmission oil from the face of the sensor.
Hold the speed sensor in your hand and away from any metal. Record the output voltage.
Hold a piece of ferrous metal against the sensor face, and record the output voltage.
Repeat Step 15 and Step 16 three times to determine
