From any guidance screen, press and hold Depth.The "Depth Memories" dialog appears:Note: You can also access the "Depth Memories" dialog from the "Vertical Setup" dialog.
Press the down arrow key until the higlight bar moves past the last item in the current list.A new depth element is created, with a depth of zero.
Use any of the following tools to set the depth:
Edit the Depth field directly.
Press +0.015 or -0.015 to add or subtract 0.015 m (0.6 inches) to or from the current depth.Note: The actual softkey labels that are displayed depend on the increment/decrement values that have been set and the units that are selected for distance.
Press Set 0.00 to set the depth to zero.
Press the "OK" key in order to accept the settings. Press the Escape key in order to exit without saving the changes.Editing A Depth
To edit an existing depth element, from the Depth Memories dialog, press the up arrow key or the down arrow key until the element for editing is highlighted. Edit the element, and save changes. Refer to the information in the sections in the following list:

"Store a Target Depth Value to Memory"Note: You can also save changes by pressing the up arrow key or the down arrow key. This enables you to edit a number of elements in succession without leaving the dialog.Deleting A Depth
Refert to the following steps in order to delete a depth element from memory:
From the "Depth Memories" dialog, press the up arrow key or the down arrow key until the element to be deleted is highlighted.
Press the "Delete" key.
Press the "OK" key in order to confirm the changes. Press the Escape key in order to exit without saving the changes.Using Touch-Point
The Touch-Point feature is often used in order to move the machine from one location to another when there is no laser catcher configured. This feature is only available after the system has been benched and requires a common touch point, such as a rock, to be accessible from both locations. This activity effectively transfers the zero (bench) depth from one working location to another, as shown in Illustration 5.

Touch-Point a DepthIn order to use Touch-Point, perform the following procedure.
Ensure that the system has been benched.
Position the bucket teeth on a common touch point (rock).

Press the "Touch-Point" button for 2 seconds. A message that is similar to Illustration 6 will appear.

The system is frozen in this state.
In order to release the machine from the frozen state, reposition the machine, then place the bucket tip on the same common touch point.
Press the "Touch-Point" button.
The Display should momentarily blink the message "Position Updated" and return to the normal Depth Mode screen.You will now be working to the same zero depth (bench) before the machine was repositioned.Using a Laser
