Features and Improvements
The new DSS v4.0 hardware has the following features and improvements:
Built-in GSM modem and Wi-Fi - Prevents the need of an external GSM modem. - SIM card slot for your GSM carrier. - Wi-Fi capability gives added option in network connectivity.
Built-in power converter - Prevents the need to connect an external power converter for surge protection.
Equipped with a differential amplifier - Allows negating of all noise induced by the electronics, the Wi-Fi interface, or external transmitters such as mobile phones, and provides clear and loud sound from the speaker.Camera

Built-in buzzer and test button in camera - Prevents the need for an external test button for hardware diagnostic check. - Configurable auto self-test which checks the desired components at every system restart. - Built-in LED as indicator for hardware failure.
