Remove bolts (1) and cover (2) from both final drives. Remove the O-ring seal from the cover.

Remove retainer (3) from both final drives.

Use Tool (A) and remove the outer axles from both final drives.
Use Tool (A) to remove the inner axles from both final drives.Installation Procedure

Release the brakes.

Use Tool (A) to install the inner axles. If the carrier was removed from the bevel gear shaft, install the carrier with the inner axle. Slide the carrier on the bevel gear shaft as you install the inner axle.
Install the outer axles with Tool (A). Install the axle on the right side first.

Install retainer (3) in the final drives.

Install the O-ring seal in cover (2). Install the covers and bolts (1) on the final drives.
