The 167-3848 Joystick Controls that are installed on D11R Track-Type Tractors may become difficult to operate. There is a possibility that an insufficient amount of lubrication was applied to these joysticks at the time of assembly.Solution:
To correct this problem, perform the following steps:1. Remove the rubber boot that surrounds the joystick.2. Apply a generous amount of 129-1968 White Assembly Grease to the ball and socket portion of the joystick.3. After the grease has been applied, move the joystick in all directions so that the grease is evenly worked into the socket.4. Reinstall the boot around the joystick.5.
