Coverage As-built Surface Tutorial
The following tutorial provides the procedures for obtaining the different as-built surfaces. The tutorial is based on the activity file and the file configuration discussed previously in this section. Additionally, the configuration keys that are used are a collation of the keys that were discussed earlier.Complete the following tasks prior to beginning this tutorial.
Set up the activity file described above.
Set up the machine configuration file with the configuration previously discussed.
Set up a toolbar with the Activity button selected.
Start CAESultra.Use the following steps in order to map the various activities.
Ensure that the plan for coverage is visible. No coverage data is added to the plan because no activity is selected.
Open the toolbar for the plan showing the coverage. Touch the activity button. The Activity Select dialog appears:

Touch the cleanup activity. Cleanup coverage (1), colored red, is mapped on the plan as the machine moves.

Open the toolbar and touch the Activity button again. Touch the ripper 1 activity. ripper 1 coverage (2), colored yellow, is mapped on the plan as the machine moves. The cleanup coverage (1) remains visible and may be overwritten by ripper 1 coverage.

Open the toolbar and touch the Activity button again. Touch the ripper 2 activity. ripper 2 coverage (3), colored green, is mapped on the plan as the machine moves. The cleanup (1) and ripper 1 (2) coverage remains visible and may be overwritten by ripper 2 coverage.

Open the toolbar for the plan showing the coverage. Touch the activity button. The Activity Select dialog appears.
Touch the passes activity. The activity coverage information is cleared from the plan. Passes are mapped on the plan as the machine moves. The first pass colors the cells red, the second pass colors the cells yellow, the third pass colors the cells green, and the fourth pass colors the cells cyan.Use the following steps in order to map available satellites.
Open the toolbar for the plan showing the coverage. Touch the activity button. The Activity Select dialog appears.
Touch the satellite activity. The machine pass information is cleared from the plan. As the machine moves, color-coded satellite information is mapped on the plan. For example, six visible satellites (5) are mapped as magenta and seven visible satellites (6) are mapped as white.
