HYDRAULIC AR-3 VALVE 2511933 - Caterpillar

Cover hole (12) to prevent hardware from falling in. Use tool (B) to drill two vertical holes measuring 22 mm (0.87 inch) through the top of HVAC case (11). Drill two horizontal holes measuring 22 mm (0.87 inch) from the inside of the HVAC case. Use the four holes in tool (A) as a guide.
Remove tool (A) .Note: The new holes may overlap the previous holes.

Bolt new bracket (4) to new plate assembly (2) .

Assemble new bracket (4) and plate assembly (2) to the case. Place the four bolts and four washers on the bracket and hand tighten the four bolts. Use the existing hardware.

Position tool (A) in closer to the hinge and in the new orientation as shown in Illustration 23. Tool (A) is used to set the correct position of the new bracket and plate assembly (2) .Note: Ensure that the back for the tool is in full contact with the plate assembly. Be sure that the tool is flush with the new plate assembly. This is critical to allow the correct distance of 91 mm (3.58 inch) from the front of the HVAC case. Ensure that the tool contacts the sealing surface (13) of the HVAC case.
Tighten the four bolts on the new bracket.
Remove tool (A) .

Position new air filter (26) against the sealing surface (13) of the HVAC case. Secure the filter with the new latch. Ensure that the seal against the case and the seal against the plate assembly are uniform thickness along the length. Tighten the hose clamp on the new plate assembly (2) .

Put the three batteries back in position. Bolt housing (17) into place by installing eight bolts (18). Bolt precleaner (15) in place and plug in any electrical connections. Install the housing around the ROPS post (19) .Replace the Front Drain fitting on the D8T

Remove the floor mat and the floor plate.

Locate front drain fitting.

The seat plate may need to be unbolted and moved in order to access the drain fitting.
Remove the drain fitting, the tube and the sealant that is around the area.
Clean the area with a brush.

Place the new 267-8575 Tube onto the new 225-4174 Drain Fitting .
Place the new drain fitting in the case.

Apply 3S-6252 Sealant around the drain fitting on the case in area (25) .
Route the tube properly in order to keep the tube from becoming kinked. Also ensure that the tube is routed vertically.
Check the other tubes in order to make sure that the tubes are not kinked. Check the other tubes in order to make sure that the tubes are routed properly.
Bolt the floorplate in place and place the floor mat in the proper location.
