Information:

1. Disconnect hose assemblies (1), (2) and (4) from steering neutralizer valve (3).2. Remove two bolts (5), washers and steering neutralizer valve (3) from the rear frame. The following steps are for the installation of the steering neutralizer valve.3. Install steering neutralizer valve (3), two bolts (5) and washers on the rear frame.4. Connect hose assemblies (1), (2) and (4) to the steering neutralizer valve.5. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to the Operation & Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the machine that is being serviced.6. Check the operation of the steering neutralizer valves. Refer to the Steering System, Systems Operation, Testing & Adjusting, "Neutralizer Valves" for the machine that is being serviced.End by:a. Remove steering frame lock pin.Disassemble & Assemble Steering Neutralizer Valve (STIC Steer Machines)
Start by:a. Remove steering neutralizer valve.1. Be sure the outside of the steering neutralizer valve is thoroughly clean prior to disassembly. 2. Remove boot (1) and plug (2) from valve body (3). Remove the O-ring seal from the plug. 3. Remove spring (5) and spool (4) from valve body (3). 4. Check the condition of lip seal (6). If the seal is worn or damaged, remove it from the valve body and replace it with a new part. The following steps are for the assembly of the steering neutralizer valve. 5. Using tooling (A), install lip seal (6) in valve body (3). Install the seal until it makes contact with the counter bore in the valve body and with the sealing lip facing in toward the valve body. Lubricate the lip of the seal with clean hydraulic oil.6. Check the condition of O-ring seal (7). If the seal is worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install the O-ring seal on plug (2).7. Install spool (4), spring (5) and plug (2) in the valve body as shown. Install boot (1).End by:a. Install steering neutralizer valve.Disassemble & Assemble Steering Neutralizer Valve (Wheel Steer Machines)
Start by:a. Remove steering neutralizer valve.1. Be sure the outside of the steering neutralizer valve is thoroughly clean prior to disassembly. 2. Remove plug (3), spring (2) and ball (1) from the body.3. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug. 4. Remove boot (4) from the valve body.5. Remove plug (5) from the body. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug. 6. Remove spring (8) and spool (7) from the valve body.7. Remove the lip-type seal from body (6). The following steps are for the assembly of the steering neutralizer valve. 8. Use tooling (A) to install the lip-type seal in the valve body. Install the seal until it makes contact with the counterbore in the valve body and with the lip of the seal facing toward the inside of the valve body. 9. Put clean hydraulic oil on all parts of the valve. Install spool (7) and spring (8) in the valve body.10. Check the condition of the O-ring seal on plug (5). If the seal is worn
