Cylinder repair kits are available for the new and former power and master cylinder assemblies. The parts in these repair kits can only be used with the cylinder assembly shown in the chart.
Correct identification of the power and/or master cylinder is important to determine which repair kit must be used. The supplier identification will determine which repair kit must be used. This identification is marked (stamped) on each cylinder housing.
Two different power cylinder assemblies with the identification "NABCO" have been used. To determine which repair kit to use, check the number on the bottom of the cylinder housing. Housings with the number "28B" and up (28C, 28D, 29A) must use the 5G4862 Repair Kit. Housings with numbers lower than "28B" must use the 5G4043 Repair Kit.
