By using the Ethernet, multiple users of the UPS View Software can monitor the operation of the UPS simultaneously.Internet Interface
Using the Ethernet, the Cat UPS allows the user to monitor the system operation over the Internet, using a Local Area Network (LAN).
Network monitoring requires an IP address that is statically assigned to the UPS.
Internet monitoring requires a LAN connection to the Internet.E-mail Notification
Ethernet Connection enables e-mail messages to be broadcast to all people on the receipt list at one time for all "Notice" events and all "Alarm" events. The e-mail messages contain the following information: UPS model, serial number, physical location and the triggering event E-mail messages are broadcast to all recipients.
E-mail requires the "Remote Notification" option and a connection to a LAN with an SMTP e-mail server.UPSView Software

UPS View displays the parameters on a computer display.UPS View is compatible with Windows operating systems, and includes capabilities for a remote notification, historical plots, logged events, expandable windows, and system diagnostics.Diagnostic Capabilities
UPS View is used as a diagnostic tool in order to download the history of events of the UPS. The software can be used in order to analyze the "Alarm" conditions or the "Notice" conditions. The software also allows the user to cancel paging notification events remotely.UPS View is based on a Client/Server architecture.
