large internal retaining rings (snap rings) used in many power shift transmissions are difficult to remove and install when using the 5P4758 Pliers which were previously the largest available. To make this procedure easier, new 1U8758 Pliers are now available.
The new 1U8758 Pliers have significantly greater reach, strength and leverage. Overall length of the new pliers is 737 mm (29") compared to the 457 mm (18") length of the 5P4758 Pliers. The new pliers have the same double-ratcheting feature as the 5P4758 Pliers which are still available.
Included with the new pliers are 3.81 mm (.150") diameter tips compared to the 3.17 mm (.125") tips on the 5P4758 Pliers. Replacement tips for the new pliers are available. For tip replacement, order 1U8759 Tips. These are serviced in pairs.
