ACTION REQUIRED
1. Replace the failed NRS cooler with a new NRS cooler design following instructions outlined in Service Magazine, M0081814, "A New NOx Reduction System Cooler Group Is Now Used on All C9.3 Tier 4 Final Machine Engines".
For additional system checks that may be required, reference Special Instruction, M0069778, "System Check after an NOx Reduction System (NRS) Cooler Failure for C9.3 through C18 Tier 4 Engines".
Refer to Special Instruction, M0070968, "Coolant Drain and Vacuum Fill Procedure For Certain C9.3 Through C18 Tier 4 Engines", for proper coolant drain and fill procedure.
Pressure test the coolant system to verify no leaks are present using the "Testing the Radiator and Cooling System for Leaks" procedure in UENR3402 prior to starting machine once the rework is completed.
2. Replace the existing AC Compressor with a heavy duty 507-3868 AC Compressor and a new 355-1793 Refrigerant Dryer.
3. Replace the existing adjustable pitch link with a fixed 499-1806 Pitch Link.
4. Replace the existing track idler caps with new 452-1402 Track Idler Caps.
