HYDRAULIC TANK AND VALVE GROUP 5J0895 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the seat and the floor plates from the cab. Remove cover (1) for the pump and valve of the transmission.2. Remove cover (2) for the oil filter from the transmission. Remove the oil filter. 3. Remove suction line (3) for the oil pump through the opening for the filter.4. Remove clip (4) from the sleeve. Push the sleeve in the housing away from the valve body.5. Remove four bolts (5) that hold the control valve on the oil manifold of the transmission.6. Remove the oil pump and control valve from transmission as a unit. 7. Remove lubrication relief valve (6) from the oil manifold of transmission.Install Transmission Oil Pump And Hydraulic Control Valve (3F/1R)
1. Install lubrication relief valve (1) in the oil manifold of the transmission with the flat side up. Be sure the shift lever is connected to the selector valve spool when the valve is installed.2. Install pump and control valve (2) in the transmission as a unit. Install the four bolts that hold the valve on the manifold. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 3 lb.ft.). 3. Lubricate the seals on the sleeve and the oil pump suction line with clean transmission oil. Slide the sleeve into the valve body. Install clip (3) that holds the sleeve in position.4. Install the suction line for the oil pump.5. Install the oil filter. 6. Install cover (5) for the oil filter.7. Install cover (4) for the valve and pump.8. Install the seat and the floor plates in the cab.
