3500 Series EnginesDescription of Change: Fuel filter indicator groups are available for all 3500 Series Engines not equipped with the optional 16 gauge premium instrument panel. The fuel filter indicator groups contain an indicator assembly which will pop up and stay up to tell the operator when to change fuel filters. The indicator will reduce operating costs because the fuel filters will no longer be changed unnecessarily.Adaptable To: A 7W6780 Filter Change Indicator Group is available for standard fuel filter arrangements. A 7W6779 Filter Change Indicator Group is available for duplex filter arrangements. The 7W6779 and 7W6780 Filter Change Indicator Groups can be retrofitted to all 3500 Series Engines without the 16 gauge premium instrument panel. The 16 gauge panel has a fuel filter differential gauge and does not need another fuel filter gauge.
