Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before installation, all components and mating surfaces should be thoroughly clean. Inspect all parts. Replace worn parts or damaged parts. Inspect all gaskets and seals. Replace gaskets and seals that are worn or damaged. Installation procedures must be performed in a clean work area.

Attach a suitable lifting device and a hoist to swing pump (2). Use the hoist to position swing pump (2) at the rear of the engine. Secure the pump to the machine. Note: The swing pump weighs approximately 65 kg (143 lb).

Connect case drain hose (5) to swing pump (2).

Connect hoses (4) to the outlet port of swing pump (2).
Connect pilot hose (3) to the regulator control valve on swing pump (2).

Connect hose (1) at the inlet port of swing pump (2). End By:
Install the hydraulic cooling piston pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Hydraulic Cooling) - Install".
Install the pilot gear pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Pilot) - Install".
