Refer to Table 2 for the parts that are necessary to adapt to the new bolts. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 for the difference between the new bolts and the old bolts.

The new bolts and the new spacersNote: New Thrust Plate (3) is thinner than the original Cover (8) and the thrust plate will no longer contact the end plate. A properly installed retaining ring ensures that the new thrust plate (3) is installed properly. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 for the difference between the mounting of the new thrust plate and the old cover.The torque for the new bolts is 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).Lightly lubricate the bore with lubricant that is being sealed before installation of thrust plate (3) and O-ring seal (6). Install plug (4) and O-ring seal (5) to a torque of 84 4 N m (60 3 lb ft) after the installation of thrust plate (3).
