Conditions Which Generate This Code:The primary circuit of the transformer is diagnosed with a short circuit to the return for the transformer.System Response:The warning output is activated. The diagnostic code may be viewed on the Digital Diagnostic Tool (DDT) or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).The cylinder will misfire.One of the following conditions is the source of the diagnostic code:
A short circuit in the wiring from the control module for the Electronic Ignition System (EIS) to the transformer
A short circuit within the primary winding of the transformer
