1. Remove two lines (1). Cap and plug immediately.2. Remove two bolts (2) and remove tow bar assembly (3). 3. Remove snap ring (4), hard washer (5) and shims (6). Note number of shims and position of washer for installing center bogie group. 4. Attach strap (7). Support with lift truck forks (8).5. Remove center bogie group, hard washer (9) and shims (10) if necessary. Note number of shims and position of washer for installing center bogie group. For installation, reverse removal steps.End By:a. Install track.b. Install tow arm.Disassemble & Assemble Center Bogie Group 7217-015
1. Remove four bolts (1) and remove cover plate (2).2. Bend locking plate (4) down away from flat of bolt head and remove three bolts (3).3. Remove locking plate (4), retaining plate (5) and shims (6). Note number of shims removed for later installation.4. Remove bearing (7), bearing cup (8) and track roller (9).5. Remove seal (10), bearing (11) and bearing cup (12).6. Repeat step 1 - 5 to remove remaining track roller assembly.7. Remove two sleeve bearings (13).8. Remove grease fitting (14) and pipe adapter (15). The following steps are for the assembly of the center bogie group. For the proper bearing preload on roller bearings (7) and (11) use shims (6). The desired bearing preload is zero roller end play with light effort needed to roll the roller.9. Install pipe adapter (15) and grease fitting (14).10. Install two sleeve bearings (13).11. Install bearing cup (12), bearing (11) and seal (10).12. Install track roller (9), bearing cup (8) and bearing (7).13. Install shims (6), retaining plate (5) and locking plate (4).14. Install three bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of ... 92 N m (68 lb-ft). Bend locking plate (4) up against flat of bolt head.15. Install cover plate (2) and four bolts (1).16. Repeat steps 11 - 15 to install remaining track roller assembly.
