This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1309" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1309" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
There have been failures of the bolt locking the ballast boxes in closed position on certain PF-300B and PS-300B Compactors. This bolt needs to be replaced by a hook allowing relative movement between the boxes and the chassis.

- Using a lifting device open the two ballast boxes.- Remove the existing locking bolts.- Install the plates 136-4545 and 136-4544.- Install the hook and bolts (refer to Illustration 2)- Holding the ballast boxes with the crane install the bolts and washers in the round slots (refer to Illustration 3).
