129-6260 Power Train Oil Lines
Remove 3T-6875 Hose (A) from the lubrication manifold to the power train oil cooler.
Remove 8E-8577 Manifold (B) from the front of the case.
Illustration 11 g00459517
Install one orifice (11) into each brake lubrication port that is located behind the manifold. See the locations that are shown in the previous illustration.
Install new manifold (8). Use seal (9). Reuse the quick disconnect fitting with new seal (10). 8E-8577 Manifold (B) has a provision to block the 57.15 mm (2.250 inch) passage into the front case. The 130-3395 Manifold does not block this passage. This allows lube oil to dump to the case which results in a low lube pressure. This passage was removed with D11N (S/N: 4HK1-UP) Track-Type Tractors. An additional step is required for D11N (S/N: 74Z1-UP) Track-Type Tractors in order to block this passage. Install one 0L-1024 Cup Plug into the 57.15 mm (2.250 inch) hole. Install the plug until the plug is flush with the surrounding metal. Tack weld the plug into position after installation.
Install new hose assembly (2). Use new flanges (7) at the manifold. Place a new seal (1) at each end.
Illustration 12 g00518664
Install new clips (3) and (4) to hose assembly (2). Install a new spacer (5) under the third clip from the front only. Install a new bolt (6) at the inverted clip that is located at the third location from the front.
Check the oil compartment for proper oil levels. Start the machine. Repair any leaks.
Bring the machine to the normal operating temperature for the Power Train. This temperature is 85°C (185°F). Disengage the parking brake. Keep the engine at high idle.
Illustration 13 g00518767
Check the transmission lube pressure at the rear of the transmission. The pressure should be 55 kPa (8.0 psi) to 90 kPa (13 psi) after all the rework has been completed.
