When one of the steering articulation cylinder position sensors on the machine is replaced, perform the Steering Physical Stop Calibration. Trim files and min/max extension tests are no longer needed.For testing of the position sensor from the hydraulic steering articulation cylinder, refer to Special Instruction, REHS7338, "Procedure Test the Position Sensor of a Hydraulic Cylinder".For removal and replacement of the position sensor from the hydraulic steering articulation cylinder, refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Clevis Style Cylinder Sensor - Remove and Install" for your model of machine. To determine if a hydraulic cylinder position sensor can be reused or should be replaced, refer to Reuse And Salvage Guidelines, REHS2553, "Reuse Guideline for Hydraulic Cylinder Position Sensor".
