Disconnect hose assemblies (20).

Install Tooling (A) to stub boom (3) and fore boom cylinder (21), as shown.

Raise stub boom (3) to a vertical position, as shown. Keep slight lifting tension on stub boom (3). Lower fore boom cylinder (21) onto Tooling (F).

Open door (22) and detach lift cylinders (23).

Use Tooling (B) and support door (22), as shown.

Attach a suitable lifting device to fore boom cylinder (21), as shown. Note: Mark shims for installation purposes.

Remove bolt (24) and remove pin assembly (25). The weight of pin assembly (25) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove shims (26) that are located between stub boom (3) and fore boom cylinder (21). Remove fore boom cylinder (21). The weight of fore boom cylinder (21) is approximately 250 kg (550 lb).

Release latch (28) and swing condenser (27) out of the way.

Remove the bolts. Reposition and secure condenser (27).

Remove bolt (29) from pin assembly (30). Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device, as shown. Remove pin assembly (30) from stub boom (3). The weight of pin assembly (30) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Remove stub boom (3) and shims (31) from the machine. The weight of stub boom (3) is approximately 544 kg (1200 lb).

Remove outer lip seal (32) from the stub boom. Repeat this step for the other side. Use a suitable lifting device and Tooling (D) in order to remove bearing (33) and the inner lip seal. Repeat this step for the other side.

Remove outer lip seal (34) from the stub boom. Repeat this step for the other side. Use Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to remove bearing (35) and the inner lip seal. Repeat this step for the other side.
