Straight Dozing - Maintain a level cut for the best performance. Fill the bulldozer blade. Carry the load to the landfill.
Bypass lugging or stalling the machine.
Avoid the excessive spinning of the track.
If turning the machine with a load is necessary, use the bulldozer tilt cylinders instead of the steering lever in order to steer the machine.When you are performing leveling work, a full bulldozer blade manages better than a partially loaded bulldozer blade.

Slot Dozing - This allows a larger load to be carried in front of the blade. This method is used in stockpiling and high production bulldozing.

Side by Side Dozing - This allows large quantities of loose material to be moved. Keep the blades close together. Keep the machines parallel.

Ditching - Tilt the blade and work with the low side in the ditch center. Cut to the desired depth.

Ditching (Straight Dozer) - Tilt the blade to cut shallow "V" ditches. For larger ditches, doze at right angles to the center line of the ditch. Doze the length of the ditch. This will smooth the sides and the bottom.

Angle Dozer Backfilling - Travel parallel to the ditch. Use the angle blade to backfill the material.
