Cut a notch in the radiator guard. Refer to Table 1 and illustration 1.

Locate bracket assembly (3) on radiator guard assembly (1) .

Weld each bracket assembly (3) to the radiator (1). The fillet weld should be about 1.5 mm (0.06 inch). Weld all the way around the bracket assembly (3) .

Locate bracket assembly (5) on radiator (4) to dimensions (H) and (J). See Table 1 and Illustrations 4 and 5 .
Weld the bracket assembly (5) to the radiator (4) with a 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) fillet weld. Weld around bracket assembly (5) .
